NEW YORK (February 3, 2014) – McDermott Will & Emery trial and antitrust partner Joel G. Chefitz won the award for “Midwest Litigator of the Year” at the 2014 Benchmark Litigation U.S. Awards. Mr. Chefitz had been nominated alongside top trial lawyers from the firms of Kirkland & Ellis, Sidley Austin, and Winston & Strawn. Award winners were chosen based on research conducted for the 2014 edition of Benchmark Litigation, including interviews with peers and clients.
McDermott was also shortlisted in the following categories:
