Steven Hadjilogiou commented on the impact of a proposed high-tax exception to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’s global minimum tax. “In concept, the high-tax exception should be a great result for individuals, because an individual doesn’t get a foreign tax credit, and the foreign tax credit mechanism before this was the only way to offset a high tax at the CFC level.”
