Matthieu Rannou focuses his practice on tax advice to French and multinational companies, with particular focus on the leisure and life sciences industries. He has a wealth of experience in the tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and group restructurings, as well as investment structuring.

Matthieu regularly provides tax advice in financial taxation, and assists with matters related to the taxation of intellectual and industrial property.

Previously to joining McDermott, Matthieu acted as an associate in the corporate tax group of another international law firm.

  • Acted as counsel to Europe Arab Bank plc (EAB) on the spin-off of its European continental activities into a new entity located in Paris*
