Julie H. McConnell represents employers and public accommodations in complex litigation before federal, state and local agencies, courts and courts of appeals. Julie’s specific experience includes disputes involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and state employment and accessibility statutes. Additionally, Julie represents employers in litigation involving disclosure of trade secrets, violation of noncompetition agreements and whistleblower disputes.
Julie counsels employers on a wide range of employment and workplace issues, such as personnel policies and practices, employment contracts, employee separations and terminations and internal investigations.
Julie maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing employers in various matters, as well as representing clients who are seeking asylum and immigration-related benefits in the United States.
