WASHINGTON, D.C. — McDermott Will & Emery partner David J. Levine of the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office has been named to the Advisory Board of the recently established Washington University Global Studies Law Review. The Advisory Board’s primary function is to direct the University’s law school students toward relevant international legal topics which can be researched and subsequently reported on in the Law Review’s student notes and recent developments.
"This is a great opportunity for me to assist Wash U. law students and to contribute to the Law School's Institute for Global Legal Studies that was established last year," commented Mr. Levine. "I hope to be able to share some of the experiences and knowledge gained from my international trade practice."
Mr. Levine’s practice includes representation before international trade organizations, federal and local agencies and courts regarding international trade, customs law, immigration and related commercial matters. He has represented foreign and U.S. clients in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Levine regularly testifies before the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Commerce on trade matters, and has lectured and written on a variety of trade-related topics.
