WASHINGTON, D.C. — Raymond Paretzky has joined McDermott, Will & Emery’s Washington, D.C. office as a partner in the Firm’s International Trade Practice Group. Mr. Paretzky counsels U.S. and multinational companies, including foreign governments, on international trade regulations and negotiations with a particular focus on China and Korea.
Also joining McDermott is Ms. Sandra Wright. Ms. Wright is an International Trade Analyst, with many years of experience handling statistical and data analysis and computer programming in trade remedy proceedings and import relief investigations.
Mr. Paretzky has extensive experience handling complex international trade matters for U.S. and foreign clients. He has particular experience in all aspects of defending foreign manufacturers alleged to be selling products below fair value in the United States ("dumping"), and has defended U.S. companies accused of dumping in foreign countries. His practice also includes counseling clients on other import relief measures and export controls.

Mr. Paretzky earned his J.D. from Yale University, and his B.A. summa cum laude from Queens College of the City University of New York. Additionally, he attended Oxford University in England earning a B.A./M.A. Mr. Paretzky is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia; and before U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
