According to Lawdragon.com, its Lawdragon rankings include fewer than .01 percent of all lawyers in the United States. The rankings are determined through extensive research conducted by the Lawdragon editorial staff. Through phone interviews, the staff speaks with thousands of legal professionals to solicit their opinions on the best lawyers. This research is then combined with votes collected through Lawdragon's online ballots to produce the various Lawdragon 500 features, including the "Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America," "Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators," and the "Lawdragon 500 New Stars."
