WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 13, 2006) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Natalia Blinkova has rejoined the Firm’s Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, as a partner based in the Washington, D.C. office. From 2004 to 2005, Ms. Blinkova extended her focus on appellate law by serving as the chief law clerk to the Honorable Paul R. Michel, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Ms. Blinkova's practice emphasizes patent litigation in the U.S. district courts and the International Trade Commission, as well as appellate advocacy before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Previously at McDermott (1998 – 2004), she worked on numerous appeals, analyzing legal issues and authoring briefs.
Ms. Blinkova holds a B.A. in the history of art from Yale University, a M.A. in Slavic studies from Cornell University and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
