LONDON (19 APRIL 2010) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery LLP has today announced the appointment of Mats Sacklén as a corporate partner in the London office. He joins from the London office of White & Case where he was a partner. Mats will take on the role of European Head of M&A and will work with other practice group leaders on the further building and integration of the Firm’s European transactional capabilities.
Mats advises multinational groups, private equity funds and other clients on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestures, joint ventures and debt and equity investments, often involving multiple jurisdictions, across a broad range of industry sectors. He also has significant experience in the area of international privatisations, having represented investors in acquisitions of, and joint ventures with, state-owned enterprises in Central and Eastern Europe, China and other emerging markets.
Having lived and practised in a number of different countries during his career, Mats has significant deal experience from all corners of the world and is a truly international lawyer. Mats is dual U.S. and Swedish qualified.
