Mr. Gaede, a partner in the Firm’s intellectual property litigation practice and chair of the Firm’s Life Sciences & Medical Devices group, was selected for his outstanding work in the area of life sciences. Mr. Gaede specializes in handling complex intellectual property cases for life science and pharmaceutical companies. Over the past year, he has handled matters involving small molecules, diagnostics, vaccines and stem cells. He has also served as lead counsel for several brand companies in some of the first Hatch-Waxman Act cases brought in the State of California.
