“We are very pleased to have been part of the team that executed this successful IPO,” said McDermott partner Stephen Older. “Completing an IPO during this period of substantial market volatility is quite significant, and reflects the quality of the offering. While many IPOs have been delayed due to recent market conditions, we are gratified to have helped position this offering for completion.”
American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. will be externally managed by an affiliate of American Realty Capital, a privately-held, vertically integrated real estate company with approximately $5 billion of assets under management.
The McDermott team was led by partners Stephen Older (in New York) and Andrew Turney (in Los Angeles) and included partner Tom Conaghan and associate Christine Corkran (both in Washington). In addition, Washington partners Blake Rubin and Matthew White worked with associate Andrew Blair-Stanek to advise on tax matters.
