Mr. Liazos regularly represents Fortune 500 companies, public companies, large closely held businesses and compensation committees on all aspects of executive compensation, ERISA fiduciary and compensation plan governance, employee benefits in business transactions, initial public offerings and bankruptcy, international compensation planning and related litigation matters. He also serves as chair of the Foreign and International Subcommittee on Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation for American Bar Association - Section of Taxation and is the past chair of its Joint Split-Dollar Life Insurance Task Force with the Section of Real Estate, Trust and Estate Law Section. Mr. Marx is a former senior trial lawyer with the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. He is also a past chair of the Antitrust Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and the former chair of the Antitrust Law Committee of the American Health Lawyers Association.
Mr. Rosenbloom focuses his practice on the areas of qui tam litigation, healthcare fraud and abuse compliance, internal investigations and complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining McDermott, he served in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois for eight years, at the conclusion of which he held the position of Deputy Chief of the General Crimes Division. As an assistant U.S. attorney, Mr. Rosenbloom conducted and supervised numerous investigations concerning allegations of financial misconduct and fraud, including government program and health care fraud. He is ranked as a leading general commercial litigation lawyer and a leading white-collar crime and government lawyer in the 2009, 2010 and 2011 editions of Chambers USA, recognized as a leading lawyer in the field of white-collar criminal defense litigation by The Legal 500 United States 2010 and 2011, and was named “The Best of the Best USA 2009” by Expert Guides.
