Frankfurt/Brussels/Düsseldorf/Munich, 17 June 2013 - McDermott successfully represented the Luxembourg based international logistics service provider Logwin on the sale of three locations of its German subsidiary Logwin Solutions Deutschland GmbH in Nuremberg, Gochsheim/Schweinfurt and Ludwigsburg to the Geis Group. The sale further included the real estate used by the three locations. The core business of the three locations is land transportation with associated logistics activities. The locations have about 425 employees and generated sales of about 105 million Euros in 2012.
Logwin develops comprehensive logistics and service solutions as an external partner for industry and trade. In 2012, the group generated sales of 1.3 billion euros and currently employs approximately 5,200 staff. Logwin operates in all main markets worldwide and has over 250 locations across all continents.
