Munich/Düsseldorf, July 5, 2016 – McDermott Will & Emery announced today that it is strengthening its German Health practice with the addition of Dr. Katharina Wodarz as a new partner in its Munich office. The Chambers ranked health lawyer began her career in Berlin at Hengeler Mueller in 2003, and has supported the office as counsel since 2010.
Dr. Wodarz advises firms and investors in a variety of health law matters. She has gained extensive experience in structuring and supporting transactions in the health care sector. She is also a very skilled litigator who has represented pharmaceutical firms, medical laboratories, hospitals and a variety of other health care firms in legal matters concerning accreditation and compensation, particularly with respect to social security law. In addition, she has regularly represented benefactors and governing authorities over the last few years. She is particularly skilled in drafting contracts for new business models as well as advising on complex compliance matters.
