Lynne Boisineau focuses her practice on trademark prosecution, counseling, enforcement and licensing, as well as providing trademark litigation support.
Lynne assists clients with all stages of securing trademark protection, with an emphasis on the selection and enforcement of trademarks, domestically and internationally, and the formulation of worldwide trademark protection and registration strategies. Lynne has extensive experience in managing large US and international trademark portfolios, and has been involved in numerous Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings (oppositions, cancellations, ex parte appeals), litigation and litigation support for cases involving trademarks, unfair competition, right of publicity, and copyrights. Lynne also assists in the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence of intellectual property rights.
Lynne counsels clients on the right of publicity, speaking and writing on this topic, especially as it relates to social media, digital advertising, and video games, and the ways in which social media intersects with federal copyright and trademark laws.
Lynne is the Firm’s registered trademark agent for the Trademark Clearinghouse, a rights protection mechanism established by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in relation to the launch of the generic top-level domain name program (gTLDs). She has significant experience in domain name proceedings under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) System.
