Pamela Ghosh, PhD* is a highly skilled research scientist in multidisciplinary research areas. Her research areas include molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, cancer biology, endocrinology, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and reproductive biology. Pamela currently focuses on intellectual property prosecution matters, freedom to operate (FTO) analysis and patent portfolio assessment.
Pamela is an accomplished biotech research scientist with a strong history of generating antibodies, developing immunoassays for detecting biomarkers for diabetes, prediabetes and gestational diabetes and associated complications. Additionally, she is proficient in using pre-clinical animal models and conducting clinical studies with human samples. She has a robust biochemical and molecular biology background complemented by advanced study and practice in translational and clinical research. Pamela also has experience in generating stable cell lines, and is proficient in state of the art techniques in oncology.
After completing her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School - Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Pamela worked as an Instructor of Medicine in Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining the firm, Pamela was an intellectual property intern at Partners Health Care.
Pamela frequently publishes articles in the health and life sciences industry. She serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for scholarly journals, including PLOS One, Journal of Biological Regulators & Homeostatic Agents, European Journal of Inflammation, and the International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology. Additionally, Pamela was featured in Brigham and Women’s Hospital Bulletin for her research on a novel blood test for screening gestational diabetes
