Jun S. Ha has extensive experience in patent procurement in various electrical and electromechanical technologies, including wireless communication, mobile devices, software, digital appliances, image forming devices, semiconductors and medical devices. He works closely with clients to prepare and prosecute US and non-US patent applications. He also conducts patentability investigations of inventions. In addition, Jun has experience in preparing claim charts to map claims with industry standards.
Prior to his legal career, Jun was an engineering researcher where he improved 3D medical ultrasound imaging techniques and developed a method to measure blood flow using ultrasound Doppler. He also developed an algorithm to detect photomultipliers in a SPECT/PET medical imaging scanner.
While attending law school, Jun served as an associate editor for Villanova’s Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. He was also the recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship while at Villanova University School of Law. He received his bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering, and his master’s degree in biomedical engineering.
