M.A. Hall focuses her practice in domestic and international health care, compliance and privacy regulatory matters, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act and Affordable Care Act (ACA). M.A. counsels ACA Qualified Health Plans, Medicare Advantage, and Prescription Drug Plan sponsor organizations on government contracting, program audits, benefit integrity and compliance/FWA matters. She is also an experienced trainer in federal and state health care programs, laws and regulations.
M.A. counsels clients—including privately and publicly owned businesses—in connection with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, CAN-SPAM Act, EU Privacy Shield and General Data Protection Regulation. She advises on cybersecurity and privacy risk assessments for new products and service offering innovations. She leads privacy impact analysis reviews for client transactions and advises clients on implementing cybersecurity and privacy regulations based on risk and gap analyses. She has also led investigations for suspected privacy and cybersecurity breaches.
