Raeeun Jang focuses her practice on patent prosecution, concentrating on the preparation and prosecution of US and international patent applications for various technologies, including computer software, hardware, web services, advertisement, e-commerce, virtual reality, electronic gaming, networking systems, telecommunication, and mechanical devices. She also has experience in strategic patent counselling, portfolio management and litigation support.
Raeeun joins McDermott from an international law firm where she was based both in the US and Korea. Her experience in Korea included helping grow the Korean practice, developing innovative IP strategies to protect and monetize clients’ IP portfolios, and collaborating with Korean law firms to jointly represent Korean clients involved in US intellectual property matters.
While in law school, Raeeun worked as an intellectual property intern at a converged infrastructure appliance company for enterprise environment. She prepared corporate documents, including agreements related to intellectual property rights.
