Michael F. Kelleher represents corporate taxpayers in complex federal income tax controversies, transfer pricing and insurance tax matters.
In the tax controversy arena, Michael represents clients in pre-audit planning, audits before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Appeals Office and in litigation. He has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures, including fast-track and post-appeals mediation.
On transfer pricing and insurance tax matters, Michael is involved in the planning process, as well as before the IRS on ruling and regulatory issues. He also has assisted clients in competent authority matters and in obtaining advance pricing agreements in the United States and in several non-US jurisdictions.
While in law school, Michael was the managing editor of Law & Policy in International Business. He began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable William B. Jones, Chief Judge of the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
