Peter M. Kreindler | Team | McDermott Will and Emery
Peter M. Kreindler practices in the areas of strategic litigation management, internal investigations and corporate crisis management.
Peter previously served for more than 17 years as senior vice president and general counsel for Honeywell International, Inc. In that role, he was responsible for all legal affairs for the company. In addition, the government affairs and health, safety and environment functions reported to him. Prior to Honeywell, Peter was a principal and associate general counsel at Coopers & Lybrand, where he handled securities litigation. Before that, Peter spent 13 years in private practice as a litigator.
Peter began his career with clerkships under Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas and US Court of Appeals Judge Irving R. Kaufman. These clerkships were followed by a position as executive assistant and then counsel to the special prosecutor for the Watergate Special Prosecution Force, where he briefed and argued the Watergate break-in appeal.
While in law school, Peter was editor of the Harvard Law Review and received the Fay Diploma for graduating first in his class.
