Kelli Lane focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, particularly in defense management for mass and toxic tort, product liability and commercial litigation. She serves as counsel for one of the Firm’s largest Fortune 100 clients, advising on case strategy development and implementation of all aspects of the client’s toxic tort litigation throughout the United States.
Kelli has extensive experience representing clients in the pharmaceutical and financial services industries, focused on regulatory compliance and corporate governance. She is experienced in financial planning and claim reporting, corporate due diligence, process and protocol development. Kelli is experienced in eDiscovery and information governance, managing large scale document reviews and productions in complex domestic and international litigation matters and government investigations.
Kelli has broad experience representing clients in the arts and entertainment industry. She has counseled clients in the film, music, publishing and fashion industries on brand development, licensing, copyright and trademark registration and enforcement and general contractual matters. She has advised museums, galleries, collectors, auction houses and insurers on matters related to the purchase, sale, consignment, loan, authentication and provenance of art works and other art law issues.
Prior to joining McDermott, Kelli was Litigation Counsel at Honeywell International Inc. and directed defense strategy for domestic toxic tort and commercial litigation for the company and its subsidiaries. Kelli served as law clerk to the Honorable Ronald L. Ellis (ret.) in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
