Verity A. Van Tassel Richards advises sponsors in matters relating to the structure and formation of investment funds and public and private companies on equity and debt offerings. She advises nonprofits and private foundations on investments and counsels entrepreneurs and boards of directors of tax-exempt organizations in crafting hybrid and international structures.
Verity is an adjunct law professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she teaches a seminar on the law of nonprofit organizations.
While in law school, Verity was an associate editor of the Cardozo Law Review. She served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Dickinson R. Debevoise of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
