View the 2011 Patent Law in Review Booklet

The enactment of the America Invents Act in September 2011 was the most significant patent reform law in half a century.  This act changed the United States’ “first-to-invent” patent system to a “first-to-file“ patent system.  In addition to this monumental change many other important decisions were rendered in other areas of patent law, including inequitable conduct, reasonable royalty calculations and joint infringement.

The beginning of 2012 provides a good opportunity to analyze major developments and changes in patent law.  We hope you will join us for a program summarizing 2011’s major patent cases and upcoming high-profile patent cases in 2012.  During the program we will discuss how to navigate the changing patent landscape in order to strengthen and maintain your company’s intellectual property position.
