McDermott Will and Emery and The European Forum of the International Bar Association is presenting this event to provide an opportunity for prominent Italian and French lawyers and decision-makers in the corporate, finance and regulatory fields, to increase mutual knowledge and discuss issues of shared interest in an open environment. - Uber arrival and the reactions in France and Italy (including a specific debate on the “Uberization” phenomenon)
- French reform of the Code of obligations, comparative approach (with a focus on the provisions impacting M&A transactions)
- French / Italian deals – Privatisation of Infrastructures (with a focus on the 3 following deals: (i) Atlantia/Aeroporti di Roma/EDF Invest – Nice Airport; (ii) Acquisition by Credit Agricole (together with Ardian) of 49% of F2i Aeroporti S.p.A., which holds shareholdings in various Italian airports; and (iii) disposal of Grandi Stazioni Retail by Ferrovie dello Stato)
