We are pleased to invite you to join us for McDermott International Seminar 2017 | Focus on Korea: The Trump Administration’s Enforcement Priorities.

The impact of President Trump’s election continues to be felt in the US and around the world. What do the changes in leadership and policy priorities at the US Justice Department (DOJ) mean for Korean companies, especially those that do business in the United States? Should companies expect a different approach towards compliance and enforcement?

The presentation, with the head of McDermott’s Silicon Valley litigation/white collar practice group and a former DOJ senior official, will cover the following issues:

  • The Trump Administration’s DOJ leadership changes;
  • Antitrust enforcement trends of interest to companies in Korea;
  • FCPA enforcement trends;
  • The DOJ’s IP rights enforcement trends, including recent efforts to combat economic espionage (state-sponsored trade secret theft).

CLE credit is pending in California, Illinois, New York and Texas. A Uniform Certificate of Attendance will be made available to participants requesting CLE credit in all other states.

For more information and to RSVP, please contact Annie Song – phone: 82 02 6030 3611.
