MWE is pleased to announce the Firm’s first-ever MWE Annual Pro Bono Report. The report highlights the pro bono contributions and successes of MWE lawyers and staff, some of whom reside in our Health Department, during the past year. These contributions have been recognized internally, as well as by external organizations. As part of its pro bono program, the Firm developed MWE: Kids First initiative, which has worked to help students of limited means to ensure they remain in school and receive an appropriate public education. We have helped students and their families in several of the communities where we practice. We partner with legal aid organizations to assist the poor in the courts.
In addition to litigation work, MWE lawyers and staff devoted hundreds of hours to tutoring minority and underprivileged students. Our lawyers also assist not-for-profit organizations with a variety of legal needs, including providing litigation, benefits, tax, corporate and health law advice. The accomplishments highlighted in MWE’s Annual Pro Bono Report confirms MWE’s commitment to helping the community and providing quality legal service to those in need.
