On November 18, 2021, Mary Kay McCalla Martire gave a presentation titled “Passthrough Entity Tax Update” as part of the Taxpayer’s Federation of Illinois’ “State & Local Tax Series: Income Tax Hot Topics” webinar. During the presentation, Mary Kay discussed the proliferation of entity-level taxes and corresponding owner-level credits following the enactment of the State and Local Tax (SALT) cap as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA).
