Kristin A. Connarn focuses her practice on life sciences patent prosecution and patent portfolio development and management in the fields of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Kristin advises clients on intellectual property (IP) issues, develops and delivers training session for employees and managers, and counsels in-house patent team members regarding invention disclosures. She has experience with preparing patentability, invalidity and non-infringement legal opinions, landscape and freedom to operate studies, due diligence, prior art searches and coordinating in-house patent committee meetings.

Kristin was previously a research associate in the Cancer Bioscience and CNS groups at AstraZeneca R&D Boston, where she employed molecular and cell biology techniques to research cancer and Alzheimer's disease. She was also a laboratory technician with Transkaryotic Therapies, where she researched gene activation.
Kristin earned her bachelor's degree in biotechnology. While in law school, she was book review editor for the Journal of High Technology Law.
