Caroline H. Ngo is Co-Leader of the Firm’s International Tax Affinity Group and is based in Washington, DC. She focuses her practice on international tax planning, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and international controversies for publicly traded, multinational corporations. She regularly counsels both inbound and outbound clients on a broad range of international tax issues, including tax-efficient structuring of acquisitions and dispositions, post-acquisition integration, financings, repatriation strategies, tax basis planning, and foreign tax credit planning, and application of bilateral income tax treaties. On tax controversy, she has served as lead counsel in litigation in the US Tax Court.
Caroline is nationally recognized for her deep knowledge of her field and is regularly invited to speak at significant forums. She has served on the Firm's Associate Compensation Committee, Associate Development Committee and Pro Bono Committee.
