Reasonableness of Web-Blocking for an Internet Access Provider

Ralf Weisser and Claus Färber wrote this bylined article regarding two German Supreme Court rulings on the closing of content to Internet access providers (ISPs), the so-called « web-blocking » process used to prevent copyright infringement. According to the authors, the Court ruled that an ISP can be required to block sites which infringe on copyright, even though the ISP has no relationship with them.
