Monsanto Owes $15M in PCB Cancer Suit, Calif. Jury Told


Anthony Upshaw told a California court that plaintiffs accusing a global agribusiness company of failing to properly test a chemical which they allege caused their cancer were applying today’s standards to exposure from decades ago. To compare his client “to our standards of today would be unfair, » Mr. Upshaw said. « We have to compare [the company] to what was happening at the time the event occurred. »
