Christopher Adams leads McDermott’s Strategic Solutions group, which integrates technology and advanced workflows throughout the firm. Chris oversees the development and implementation of innovative solutions at both the individual client and practice group levels to drive efficiency and downstream cost savings.
In addition, Chris oversees all litigation support services for McDermott Discovery matters, assisting the Firm’s lawyers and large corporate clients by developing and implementing defensible, effective and cost efficient eDiscovery strategies during complex litigation and investigations. Chris also advises on litigation and eDiscovery business strategy, including market penetration, strategic growth, team building and rightsizing, and technology selection and implementation.
Chris helps clients identify gaps in current eDiscovery practices and procedures and advises on best practices in records and information management, legal hold creation and implementation, custodian identification and stakeholder interviews, data retention and destruction policies and procedures, defensible review processes, forensic investigations and project management.

- Created managed review offering for company and implemented managed review eDiscovery solutions for dozens of Fortune 500 companies and Am Law 100 law firms*
- Prior to joining McDermott, Chris successfully led multi-disciplinary team on one of the most complex court-ordered divestitures in US history, comprising over 7 TB of co-mingled data, 3,300+ search terms, 180+ custodians, and 38 distinct data sources for remediation. Co-authored final report detailing all divesture activities and presented findings to Trustee and his expert; report was adopted in whole and ratified by the Trustee*
