Benjamin (Ben) W. Thompson focuses on driving technology and workflows to support a variety of internal and client-facing legal solutions.
In addition, Ben consults with attorneys, practice group leadership, IT and other stakeholders to analyze the current state of technology adoption, and identify areas where software could be used to drive client value and profitability. Furthermore, he researches current markets and industry trends relating to technology’s role in the practice of law, and coordinates with other members of the Innovation Team to scope out potential new products and offerings.
Developed an Innovation Hub and associated online portals through which new technological solutions are analyzed, tested, and implemented within the Firm, and eventually for the benefit of specific practice groups and clients.
Helped built and lead a legal consulting group formed within a boutique managed services provider in Washington, DC.*
Led many multi-disciplinary teams focused on document management and retention matters, including complex corporate divestitures that involved dozens of data sources.*
