Sharief El-Gabri focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate matters. He advises public and private companies, private equity firms, and their portfolio companies in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, business formations, corporate restructurings, and other complex business transactions.
While in law school, Sharief served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Virginia Kendall of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also served as the managing articles editor for The Michigan Journal of International Law. Prior to law school, Sharief served as a Fulbright scholar in Amman, Jordan.
