Présentation
Kevonna J. Ahmad is an employment advisor and litigator. She defends employers in single-plaintiff, class action and Private Attorneys General Act litigation. She regularly defends employers in state and federal lawsuits alleging wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. She also provides strategic advice into a broad range of employment issues, including general employee training, terminations, mass layoffs, leaves of absence and employee handbooks and policies.
While in law school, Kevonna participated in the Gould School of Law Mediation Clinic, where she independently mediated small claims, civil harassment claims and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims.
Within the community, Kevonna sits on the Board of Directors for the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Foundation, as the Foundation’s secretary. The Foundation’s mission is to provide support to law students and legal professionals in order to diversify the legal community.
