Patrick J. Martinez focuses his practice on representing private equity firms and their platform companies in their acquisitions and divestitures of for-profit health care companies. He also devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing hospitals and health systems in transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, management agreements and system restructuring.
Patrick also has experience on a wide range of regulatory matters affecting hospitals and health systems, including physician contracting, compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Medicare reimbursement and facility licensing.
While in law school, he was editor in chief of the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law.
