Jeffrey Meyers focuses his practice in energy, corporate and transactional matters. He has broad experience in the development and financing of domestic and international energy projects, and the acquisition and sale of interests in energy facilities and companies. Jeff represents strategics, independent power producers (IPP), private equity investors, infrastructure funds, oil and gas companies, equipment manufacturers, and governments on all aspects of energy industry matters.
Jeff’s work on energy transactions spans five continents, and he often works across practice groups—including tax and regulatory—to ensure his clients receive stellar legal and client service.
Jeff frequently writes and speaks on topics related to energy issues. He has published articles in industry periodicals, including Natural Resources & Environment and often presents at industry conferences.
Prior to joining McDermott, Jeff was the chair of the Energy and Project Finance Practice Group at another distinguished American law firm.
