A significant segment of Tina’s e-Discovery litigation career has been spent practicing within the healthcare and employment sectors. More specifically, responding to civil investigation demands and governmental investigations pertaining to Anti-Kickback Statutes, the Foreign Corruption Practices Act, and Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare fraud allegations within the healthcare industry. In addition, Tina’s employment litigation experience focuses on employee contract disputes, alleged breaches of non-compete clauses, duty of loyalty clauses, and anti-solicitation obligations, along with misappropriation of trade secrets and deceptive trade practices.
Furthermore, Tina has particular knowledge concerning governmental and environmental investigations related to pipeline breaches, soil contamination issues, and oil refinery fires. She also has widespread experience when it comes to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigations specifically involving the financial services industry.
Prior to joining McDermott, Tina served as a law clerk in the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Western District of Michigan and obtained her pilot’s license when she was only 17. In her spare time, she loves gardening and is an avid animal rescue supporter.
