Dr. Anja Zelfel focuses her practice on all aspects of real estate law. She advises domestic and international clients on German tenancy law and real estate transactions. Her practice includes portfolio transactions, the leasing of real estate, project developments and real estate financing.
Anja has gained practical experience in a range of matters, in particular real estate related mergers and acquisitions (M&A), real estate takeovers and cross-border transactions, including the following:
Buy-side advice on the share deal acquisition and acquisition financing of a target holding a portfolio of nine retail and mixed-use assets being located throughout Germany (2015), as well as advice on three asset deal acquisitions of retail buildings in different German cities (2013/2014); ongoing asset management advice on all leasing related matters with regard to the whole portfolio (2013-2015)
Sell-side advice on the sale of a pan-European real estate portfolio with exclusive assets in UK (London), France (Paris), Italy (Milan), Germany (Hamburg), Netherlands (Amsterdam and Rotterdam), Belgium (Brussels) and Sweden (Gothenburg) (2014/2015)
Sell-side advice on the disposal of a portfolio consisting of fifteen retail and office buildings in Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne and further German cities (2014/2015)
Buy-side advice on the acquisition and development of a client’s new 16,000 square meter German headquarter in Düsseldorf-Ratingen (2013/2014)
