Experts Discuss “Extraordinary Acquirers” for Consistently Great M&A


Robert Goldstein suggested, based on his two-plus decades of M&A and private equity work, that “there are more extraordinary acquirers than there are extraordinary deals – the best-prepared acquirers in both arenas are the most likely to have success.” He explained that preparation means “learning about and understanding an industry, a product line, and a geographic sector before they even start zeroing in on specific targets.”
