Freedom of Movement in the European Union


One of the pillars of European integration is the freedom of movement of people within the Schengen area. With the arrival of Covid-19, several member states have already taken unilateral measures to limit free movement and are now individually organizing the lifting of restrictions on their population, and their future movements within the Schengen area.
