McDermott Boosts its German Antitrust Practice with the Appointment of Partner Christian Krohs
DÜSSELDORF(9 November, 2015) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that it has appointed Christian Krohs as partner in its Düsseldorf office. Christian, who will join the firm with two associates at the end of the year, will be responsible for developing McDermott’s antitrust practice in Germany.
A highly-respected antitrust lawyer, Christian joins from KPMG Law in Cologne where he was the head of its Antitrust Group and played a decisive role in its set up. Prior to that, he spent eight years with Freshfields working in Cologne, Berlin and Brussels.
Mr. Krohs has extensive experience in advising on German and EU competition matters, particularly with regard to cartel proceedings, defending damages claims and merger control proceedings, especially in the energy industry.
His team also advises on compliance issues in relation to antitrust and corruption.
