Dan focuses his practice on labor and employment aspects of M&A transactions. He also counsels clients on all facets of compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and assisting clients in formulating legally compliant employment policies and practices.
“We have hit the ground running since coming to McDermott this spring. We’re excited about growing the team strategically as we see increased client demand for our expertise,” said Michael Sheehan, the global head of McDermott’s Employment Practice Group. “Dan’s deep employment transactional background is a great fit and reinforces our capabilities in an important area. Dan will ensure we provide comprehensive employment support for our corporate clients and transactional partners across the firm.”
“I was attracted by the high quality of McDermott’s employment lawyers as well as their willingness to work collaboratively across practice groups to ensure clients receive the most robust and comprehensive counsel,” Dan said. “I look forward to working with them on high-stakes and complicated M&A deals and on guiding clients in their most challenging personnel issues.”
Previously a partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Dan received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
