McDermott Reinforces Strength in London Oil and Gas Practice
LONDON (16 October 2014) — International law firm McDermott Will & Emery announces that Lisa O’Neill is to join as a partner in its global Energy Advisory group later this month, to be based in the Firm’s London office.
Lisa is a transactional lawyer with a diverse practice but a particular focus on the oil and gas sector. Lisa advises a wide range of clients including major international oil and gas companies, corporates, infrastructure funds, some of the world’s largest mining groups, financial institutions and private equity funds on M&A, joint ventures, commercial contracts and general corporate work.

Lisa joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner in London where she has been a partner since 2012. Lisa was previously a senior associate at Allen & Overy where she qualified having started her career with them in 2000. Whilst at Allen & Overy, Lisa was seconded to New York and Moscow and spent time in-house on secondment at Shell’s London office.
