Jason (Jase) Burner advises clients in a wide range of corporate matters, focusing his practice on buy- and sell-side acquisitions and mergers in the healthcare, technology and consumer products industries. He has represented and advised private equity groups, venture capital clients, and publicly traded and privately held companies throughout the dealmaking process and with other corporate and securities matters.
Jase also advises technology and blockchain clients on state and federal securities issues including private placements and initial public offerings. Jase also advises his technology clients on the software and intellectual property licensing aspects of technology transactions, as well as the development of international joint ventures. In addition, Jase counsels technology and healthcare startups and investors on the unique legal issues related to formation, operation and fundraising, including seed and series rounds, and strategic exits. Jase also provides pro bono services for various nonprofit organizations, including formation of new 501(c)(3) entities.
