Pinkert focuses his practice on regulatory matters, particularly trade remedies and trade policy, including antidumping, countervailing duty and safeguard actions, international intellectual property matters, trade agreements and tariffs. He also focuses on digital trade, renewable energy, sanctions and export controls.

  • Represented three Japanese producers, Daido Steel Co. Ltd., Aichi Steel Corp., and Sanyo Special Steel Co., during the US International Trade Commission’s (ITC’s) fourth sunset review of the antidumping duty orders against Stainless Steel Bar from Brazil, India, Japan, and Spain*
  • Represented the Solar Energy Industries Association in Section 201 global safeguard mid-term review of trade remedies against solar cells and modules*
  • Represented a coalition of US importers in the ITC’s antidumping and countervailing duty injury investigation of Wooden Cabinets and Vanities from China*
