M. Brian Hall, IV counsels clients in the healthcare industry on a full range of transactional and regulatory issues. He provides counseling and advice to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, pharmacies, private equity firms and their portfolio companies and a variety of other healthcare companies in complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic affiliations and related integration issues. Brian’s regulatory practice focuses on fraud and abuse issues arising under the Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statue, reimbursement and payment reform issues, and operational and compliance issues.
Previously, Brian was an associate in the healthcare and life sciences practice of a large national law firm. During law school, he served as a law clerk for The Johns Hopkins Health System Legal Department and interned for a member of the US Senate. Brian also served as the senior articles editor for the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy.
