Daniel Mathias advises clients on various aspects of corporate law with a focus on M&A, family offices and private equity transactions. He has experience advising UK and international clients with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, cross-border transactions and investment funds.
Daniel has significant US-related experience both on inward investments into the United States as well as on transactions by US clients internationally.
Daniel joined McDermott from an internationally renowned firm where he gained experience in the London, Washington DC and Hong Kong offices. He has also gained business experience with time spent at Monogram Capital Partners, a growth private equity firm based in Los Angeles focused on the consumer, retail and health sectors.
Daniel is active in assisting one of the UK’s leading social investors Big Issue Invest on a pro bono basis. BII Social Enterprise Investment Funds support ambitious social enterprises and charities with sustainable business models looking to extend their social impact. The investment objective of these Funds is to provide growth capital to high impact organisations.
