Overview
Donald R. Pugliese concentrates his practice on all matters of environmental law, including litigation and compliance. He currently functions as the lead trial attorney for the Firm’s New York City asbestos docket, and regularly negotiates large-sum settlements with multiple plaintiffs’ firms.
Prior to pursuing a career in law, Donald worked as a senior court reporter for the State of New York, Suffolk County, covering criminal and civil trials.
Results
- Served as pro bono counsel for three Muslim Uighur detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; along with other members of the McDermott team, obtained releases for the detainees proving that the detainees were non-combatants
